Focus and Expertise

My illustrations are fragments of stillness—an exploration of vulnerability, resilience, intimacy, and quiet strength. Rather than seeking perfection, I am drawn to presence: the subtle moments that remind us of what it means to inhabit a body.

The figures remain intentionally incomplete. They invite space for interpretation, resisting the idea that the body can be fully defined, understood, or contained. Each line offers just enough to suggest a story, making the unseen as important as what is revealed.

Working with minimal marks and generous negative space, I explore how we instinctively read identity through shape, gesture, and form. In doing so, the drawings gently question the assumptions we make about bodies, gender, beauty, and belonging.

These figures are not fixed. They exist in moments of becoming—fluid, evolving, and quietly resistant to expectation. They are less concerned with representing the body than with honouring the complexity of living within one.

This collection is an invitation to pause, to look more slowly, and to find meaning in simplicity.
